Every time I go to the track the car gets slower.  Today was no exception (see new times in the table below).  The car only ran 112 MPH and now my torque converter isn’t working.  I did get my best 60’ time, though – a 1.53 which is pretty amazing on street tires and off of the foot brake.  2006 will go down as the most expensive and least productive year with the Grand National.  There’s always next year……

Timing 27/26, boost 22-23 PSI, got tires hot, fresh VHT on the track.  Felt lazy after the launch; torque converter not locking.

5 gallons of C116; pumped tank dry first (didn’t mix with 93 octane), low-50 degrees ambient temp, timing at 25/24, boost around 20 PSI, new 114 octane chip.  Didn’t get tires hot enough, launched well but spun about 20 feet out.

85 degrees ambient temp.  New RJC intercooler, 110 TT chip, mix of 93 octane (2 gals), 4 gals 116 and a small amount of 100 octane fuel.  22 PSI boost, MT 275/60/15s at 20 PSI.  Slight knock; don’t think it was real due to a loss of traction.
